Resident Evil 6: Leon and Helena Stamp

Am I the only one who think this long stare was kinda... Pointless but REALLY SWEET? like, why give that a focus? Zoom at each other face then at their arms on each other (Leon holding her waste and she his chest). What was the point exactly if they don't show any 'romantic'' development afterwards? ( 
Is so sweet!! Capcom should have worked more on it through the game. Tho Leon hit on her A LOT, well, till Ada appears.
